London
Sorry for the spoiler in the title, but we'll just say it from the start--it's official, we're going to London!!!

We went to London for the first time this past summer and loved everything about it! We never could have imagined that only 7 months from that trip we'd be moving there for 18 months.
We had our interview last week with Elder Dushku, the Church’s General Counsel, in Salt Lake. In spite of our nerves, we did our best to appear and act like grown-ups so that we'd "pass" the test. But in reality, it wasn't so much of an interview or a test as it was a conversation with a kind and loving friend who wanted us to feel comfortable and welcomed into this group of people striving to serve the Lord in this specific place and in this unique way.
Following the interview, we also met with two of the lead attorneys in the Office of General Counsel who gave us a little more information about what serving in London would be like for Jon and talked with me a little bit about what I might be interested in doing. The final step in the process was for our call to be sent for approval by a member of the First Presidency. We weren't sure if that would happen until after Christmas because the First Presidency would be on vacation for the holidays.
But the next day, we got a phone call from Elder Dushku--he let us know the happy news that our call had been approved and we were going to London! He actually read our call letter over the phone to us, since we wouldn't be getting the physical letter in the mail for a few days. It was a tender experience to have our call extended in this way and finally to know where we would be serving. It felt like the best Christmas gift!
