That’s the tricky bit! Usually you can just slow down and slide past each other carefully. Sometimes there’s a little bit wider space in the road where you can get by. Occasionally it’s so narrow that someone has to back up and wait for the other one to pass. It’s like playing chicken!
We should compare notes with the Brazil driving test: opposite ends of the spectrum! But driving in a foreign country is taxing. I think of you both frequently, especially during European car chase scenes on tv. I will say a prayer for for the next text. Chin up!
I don't envy your driving experiences. Here in the Marshall Islands, no one takes a driving test; they don't exist. As it's just one single main road with no stop signs or traffice lights, they must figure anyone can drive that. Since being here I don't think we have broken 20 miles/hour--that's my peeve! haha
Your emails are such a delight to read. This was no different except for the less than happy driver’s test reports for Jon. As we say here in the U.S., “third time’s the charm,” for which I’ll be praying!🙏🏼 I’m sure many more friends and family will be too. At least there’s a promise of ice cream at the end right?
Thank you for taking us on your journey with pictures and words.
What do you do if a car is coming the other way on the narrow roads?

Scary! I think I would make Chris drive "always"!
Ha! It didn't make me sign in with a Handle today!
That looked like an extremely fun trip even with the disappointment.
You got it next time for sure, Jon!

Love you both!! ♥️
